Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able perform, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements when she was a child. In the month of November, 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually shifting into Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism by then Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having an Jewish ceremony. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's most-loved television couple list. They also were named by E! as the top television couple of the year 2013.
