Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her family was a middle class one living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled the love of movies in the girl. Paula took part in numerous activities at school that were co-curricular however she showed an interest in drama. Her favorite part was acting in stage plays along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to be an actor in high school and she picked acting for a profession. She was in The University of Southern Cal's Summer program and enjoyed it immensely. She was offered a contract for three months to produce documentaries on PBS. She started her career as a television production assistant following the completion of this task. The next thing she did was start producing documentaries. While she enjoyed working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. She began her acting career with a small character on the movie romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. Since then, she has been in a variety of popular films as well as TV programs.
