Samantha Mohr was born on September 13th, 1961 at Columbus, Georgia. Virgo is her Zodiac Sign. Mohr has an American of white origin with an American citizenship. Her childhood, her parents and siblings are not publically known. Mohr has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology with an audiology minor from the University of Georgia. Mohr also attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Mohr received her Bachelor of Arts in broadcast meteorology from the Georgia University in 1989. Following the suggestion by a fellow UGA students, Mohr started working in the glamorous field at 24. She was named Miss Columbus in 1985 after having a crown kiss, and beating the competition. Her victory qualified for her to participate in the Miss Georgia contest in June 1985. In June 22 she also was named the winner of the competition. Mohr then went on in September of 1985 to compete for Georgia in Miss America 1986, a pageant which was held at Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mohr did not make it to the Top 10 Finalist in the National Title.
