April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic gold medal. She is one of a few women beach volleyball athletes that have achieved this feat. Alix klineman, who is competing for the first time in Tokyo's Olympics is hoping to secure her third medal. Ross hopes to win her Olympic the first medal of gold but she's also hoping to win even more. Perhaps it is her last opportunity, given that she is 39 years old. However, she's confident that winning the gold medal is at hand. Ross was reported by NBC Boston as saying that If you put in your top, even if you perform well, you will win the gold. In addition, I'll try the chance to have chance. Ross was born in California, Costa Mesa in the year 1982. Her parents and her sister were residents in the area. Ross competed in many sports during her time at Newport Harbor High School. When she was a student in the prep school, she competed in basketball, indoor volleyball and running track. While she did well when playing indoors but it was apparent that her performance was above normal. During her high school career she played middle blocker, outside hitter and setter on the volleyball court as per her college bio. Gatorade Circle of Champions named her the national Player of 1999. In addition, she was awarded the 1999 Orange County Athlete of the Year trophy for volleyball. Ross is currently playing alongside Klineman since the year 2017, but Ross's beach game was established well before this. It's true that she has been able to win multiple events, one of which was with an iconic volleyball player. She teamed up together with Jennifer Kessy from 2007-2013, and was also Klineman's personal trainer. Kessy as well as Ross proved to be an impressive force on the international circuit, winning a 2009 world title with each other. This duo went on to win a silver at the 2012 Olympic Games at London. The legendary Misty Maytreanor team and Kerri Jennings took home the gold. Ross Jennings became Walsh Jennings partner in fate when Maytreanor retired. Both went on to win the bronze beach volleyball medal at the Rio Olympics 2016 with Walsh Jennings. After high school and several years prior to hitting the sand professionally, Ross played to the Trojans at USC while an NCAA. Ross's Trojans experience was remarkable. In 2000, as a freshman she played her way to Pac-10 as well as NCAA The Freshman of the Year awards and was an All-American. The Trojans could also get to the Final Four with her help. During her sophomore year she suffered a tremendous personal loss but still managed to make it back as an All-American. Through her last two years within the team, she guided the Trojans up to the top of the mountain by winning two successive national titles. In 2003-2004, Ross was named as the most successful female volleyball player on the collegiate scene in the US according to The Honda Sports Award. Ross was a major in international relations at USC. Margie Ross was never able to watch her daughter's climb to beach volleyball fame. Ross lost the breast cancer that she battled in 2001. Ross was then a sophomore. As a result, Ross continues to be close to her deceased parent. Margie continues to be an inspiration both on and off of the shore.
