Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. In Australia she gained notoriety for her character in the role of Pepper Steiger in Neighbors, the soap which ran for 100 episodes between the period 2006-2007. She arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects: first with the musical comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she portrayed an actress who is coming to Hollywood. After landing the role of Maya in Scrubs, she played an extremely seductive medical student. The show is then abruptly shut down. She then returns to the production of a comedy with The Farrelly brothers Good for shooting accompanied by Jason Sudeikis' partner Owen Wilson then appearances in short series and B series films. It was in 2013 that she started to get noticed to a wider audience. After being featured in six episodes on the detective drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first regular role in the webseries Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia, the actress got a number of new projects. In the initial two seasons, she played Chad Michael Murray's rebuttal in each season. In the following season, she continued to play supporting roles in two amazing feature films set in airplanes the first of which was a tv film that was a part of SyFy channel Flight 7500: One Way Back. SyFy station Flight 7500 The One Way Back with a cast that included actors from the television show while the other was the action movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. She plays a flight attendant. More importantly, she together with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador an all-new television show. This thriller series where the characters play CIA agents. It is directed with director Robert Rodriguez however does not over a total of 13 episodes. It continues to air the pilot of a different series, but it does not succeed. She also shared the poster for a B-series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause and then was seen as a character in comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. The original Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence Malick, was extensively distributed. She also appears in five episodes of the Satisfaction TV series.
